Thanks For The Amazing Birthday!
My real birthday is on New Years Eve. I can’t say I mind, as it is always a built in party and everyone gets dressed up and it makes the whole resolutions thing extra special and meaningful. Also, I am AGING WITH THE EARTH. BUT, a few years ago (okay, like 8 years ago), I started the tradition of having a birthday celebration a week or two AFTER my actual birthday. Just when everyone is like, “oh thank god, the holidays are over, no more parties, I can cleanse!” I am like HAHAHA stupid, it’s CAITLIN’S SEQUIN CHAMPAGNE CHOCOLATE CAKE WHISKEY SHOT NACHO FRY DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA. Or at least that is what it felt like this year.
Thank you so much to my increasingly handsome boyfriend, Geoff & my gorgeous friends for putting the whole thing together. And thanks to everyone who came out, extra points if you stayed late and went dancing. I am the luckiest girl in Brooklyn, and here are the pictures to prove it. XO.
Also, can we talk some more about this cake?!
